Description: Conically-bored instrument. Lost-wax cast in three parts in bronze. 738 mm long. Tapering from 5mm (throat) to 103mm bell. This curves through 90° and is slightly flared. Made up of mouthpipe and tuning,piece and bell yard. Tuning piece has two male ends which fit into other pieces and is soldered there. Carrying mounts: on mouthpipe and bell yard. Eye-shaped cross section.
